My wife was six months pregnant during our trip to Maui. She didn't have any problems but she made sure to drink a lot of water and she rested as much as possible when we had some down time. We did hike quite a bit but we took our time and since the trails are in good condition it was not too tough. The trip to see the sunrise is consisted of getting up early to make the drive but there wasnt really a hike involved. You can park pretty close to the top and then walk about 200 yards and your there. Definately worth going to. Let us know if you have any other questions as we love to talk about that vacation.
